Wireless trackball interfering w/ computer speakers?

I have an older set of speakers (Yamaha YST-MS50), they've been great, but I think my wireless trackball is interfering with them. When I'm playing no music, but the speakers are on, I can hear some interference.

Are computer speakers available shielded? Would that even do anything?

Thanx.

Actually. I'm wrong. I just unplugged it and the noise was still there. I guess I just assumed it was the wireless trackball because it was the most recent addition to my computer. Guess my speakers may just be worn out.

Make sure if your speakers use speaker wire that they aren't running parallel to any power cables. This can add some interference.

Also make sure you have everything muted that you're not using (line-in, mic, etc.)
