Wireless to hardwired?

My sister recently purchased Vonage and we found that it will not work wirelessly on her computer. It does, however, work when it is hardwired. She lives in a dorm that has wireless connectivity only, and no way to hardwire. Is there any way to pick up this wireless network with some piece of hardware and then hardwire her computer to that?
