Wireless speed on a tablet

Trying to watch youtube on my Thrive during the evenings, makes it buffer all the time. But at other times it'll run fine. So I was thinking it was my cable provider not having the bandwidth. But after my tablet kept buffering, I tried my computer with a wired connection and it ran fine. It doesn't make any sense.

Another question, is there a way to increase the buffer amount before a video starts for mobile firefox?

Bandwidth is most likely shared - and primetime means lots of simultaneous users.

Wifi vs hardwired loses every time. As long as the source of connection is the same and you have a good cable that is.

You could maybe try changing the channel on your wifi to see if it helps. Maybe getting interference from neighbors?
