Wireless SMC Barricade + streaming video?

I'm looking to wirelessly network my PC and laptop. 802.11a is beyond my budget so I'm looking at picking up a wireless SMC Barricade 802.11b router and an Orinoco 802.11b Silver PC card. How will this wireless combination on my laptop handle streaming video from my cable internet connection compared to my regularly wired PC?

should work just fine. The wireless net should be faster than your internet connection. Even if your wireless signal is only good enough for 1 or 2 Mbs it'll work fine.

I've used cisco 350 gear and a 1.5 Mbit stream, works great.
