After a slew of issues with my old D-Link Di-624, i finally went out and replaced it with a Netgear WGR614 that CC had on sale for $30 otd.
Well that fixed my encryption issues i had with the old d-link, but this netgear has its own set of problems.
It seems that as the day progresses, the wifi signal going to my mac mini desktop degrades. Starts off after a fresh reboot with a full signal, maybe one bar less. After a few hours, sometimes half a day, its usually at 50%, and 24 hours after a reboot, the signal is usually completely non-existant, to the point i have to reboot the router.
This brings up another issue, afaik, this router has no option in the web interface to reboot the darn thing. As my router isn't in an easily accessable location, this proves to be a PITA as i have to go downstairs and pull the plug.
Do i just have bad luck with these things? Pretty sure its not my mac mini as i never seem to have trouble hopping on the neighbors networks. Also no 2.4ghz phones in the house, and i dont currently have neighbors on either side of me right now.
