Wireless Router

Hello all,

I am planning to get a wireless router & I was wondering which router (Netgear, Linksys or D-Link) would be the best choice for a wireless router. My primary use will be to share my DSL connection with my 3 pc in my house. I would prefer one that is simple to connect but secure. Natually cost is a factor. Also which is best 802.11a, b or g.

It seems the more I google these issues the more confuse I get.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

The most popular router these days it the LinkSys WRT54G or WRT54GS. It's a great router and can use 3rd party firmware on it. But for normal use, the fancy firmware probably isn't needed. However of your three choices I rate them as 1) LinkSys - 2) NetGear - 1,523) DLink
