Hey all.

I have a brand new Linksys 802.11N router. The problem is that my
printer is USB only. There are many hardwired and wireless computers
and devices on my network.
To get wireless printing to work, will I need to upgrade to a router like the
Airport Extreme, which has a USB port on it?

You have to make up your mind what is more important.

There is very few Wireless Cable/Routers Combo Models as compare to stand alone similar models. If you insisit on a combo your priority is Not Wireless and Network quality, but other secondary components.
So, you get "Lousy" Wireless and low Network quality, and you savings are few plastic boxes, and may be few $$$.

I.e. it is like posting what is the best Wireless Router that I can get in Pink color?

Buy good wireless Router and solve the other issue through stand-alone Gizmos that are specifically built for it.

As an example, getting a Network printer is much more superior to any lame printer server.

So if you were me, you would keep the Linksys Router, Forgo the Printer Server Gizmo,
And upgrade the printer?
That sounds like a good plan, but the most expensive option that I was looking at.
I will look at some network printers then.
Thanks for your help Jack.

You might just want to get an Airport Express. It can tether to your existing network, has a USB port for printers, and is much cheaper at $99:

It won't extend the range of your network unless you have an Airport Extreme or other Apple router, but it can act as a client after you do a manual setup using Ethernet. You can also use the Express to listen to music (it has a speaker port and a system called AirTunes). If you're interested in that, be sure to check out AirFoil - it lets you stream any audio (not just iTunes) to the Expresses:
