My Linksys Wireless router is about 11 inches away from my monitor. Do you think this is too close?

Is your monitor distorted? Do you have problems with wireless connectivity?

If the answer to both of those questions is no, then the answer to your question is no.

It should not be a problem.

I should have been more clear in my previous post, but I was in a rush this morning.

Yes, I am having some connectivity issues, and I think it's due to the monitor being so close to the router (2.4 spectrum and all). The issues are mainly just losing the connection, and having trouble resetting it.

"you will never have children...."

Don't really see the helpfulness here if it's directed towards me.

Anyhow, I figured it was something else, I was just trying to rule this variable out.

As long as the physical setting does not block the signal it should not be a problem.

My Router's Antenna is 3" from the Monitor and it is working well.

I've found that keeping your router higher than everything else usually works well. Mine is up on a hutch and my PS3 gets 10% more signal than next to my monitor.
