Wireless router setup

I am trying to set up a wireless router for some people who don't know much about computers. They will also only access the router on the rare occasion they are in the building for a meeting (one or twice a month). So basically I'd like to keep the router secure, but provide an easy authentication method. IE require a user name and password, instead of an SSID and encryption key.

We have a new linksys wireless g router (and would like to do the same with a slightly older d-link if possible). And all clients will be using XP.. (most likely pro, but home might be in the mix).

Set up the Chillispot server built into the Firmware on dd-wrt. That will provide user name and password instead of an SSID and encryption key. (alhtough you will always have an SSID, you just won't need the encryption key.)
