Wireless router question

if i get a wireless router do i need any special kind of ethernet modem or should the standand (linksys or dlink) ones work with existing ethernet cards?

i thought id ask in OT becuase you guys tend to reply pretty quickly and have always steered me right.

for wireless clients you need a wireless ethernet card, whether USB, PCMCIA or PCI...

for wired clients it's a standard 10 base-T connection.

Special what? You'd just plug your DSL/Cable modem into your router, and if u still have computers u want physically wired, you just plug your cat5 into the router.
