wireless router problems

so i got a new wireless N router.

hooked it up to my cable modem and my main pc. works fine. i setup a network key for my wireless laptop which has wireless G built in.

Setup my laptop and worked great.

Now for some reason every other day the laptop cant connect to the network. it can see the connection, but wont connect. when this happens if i unplug the router for 5 min, and plug back in and reconfigure my lappy it works.

whats the deal with this?

i got wireless N b/c my new lappy will have N.

I too experience this with both Wireless G routers... reason i hate wire less lol untill someone tells me a great wireless router to buy and i actually buy it, i think wireless sucks.

But my routers that experience this problems are Linksys WRT54G and Belkin Wireless G Plus Router F5D7231-4 with using both a Linksys G PCI wireless card and a IBM T42 laptop built in wifi.

If there is a solution that would be nice to know. But thinking about it long ago (7 years ago) when cable modem were first release to the public i used to get an issue with it and to find out my home(not the current one) had issues with power from the wall and a UPS Backup Power Surge Suppressor fixed the problem i wonder if this is something similar....
