wireless router plugged into wired router?

so my bro just got an old wireless router from a friend. the thing is it doesnt have great features. he likes his wired router which has more features. how would it be possible to both in conjuction with one dsl line? he suggested plugging the wireless router into the wired router but i doubt that will work.

any ideas? thanks

btw...ive heard terms like bridge, reapter,and switch thrown out. i have an idea what these means but i'm not quite sure.

Use the LAN ports to connect both of them and disable DHCP on the secondary one.
