Wireless router in an existing network

Hey all,

Here is my scenario. At my job I just installed a wireless router (wrt54g),into an existing network. I am able to get it to work because people are able to connect to it and so forth. However, I cannot access the share drives that are on the network.

I am not to say that it doesn't work at all though. It works for the computers that are joined to the domain. However, I am using my personal laptop so I didn't want to bother joining it to the domain. If i am hard wired to the switch(network switch in the cabinet not the router), I am capable of getting to the shared drives. However, once I go wireless I am incapable of getting to them I get a system 53 error (network path not found).

I am not a complete rookie in dealing with networks but by no means an expert. Some help is needed. Thanks
