Wireless Router/Gateway Unable to See

setup:

modem - firewall - switch - wireless router connected by wan port - laptop(wireless)

i'm trying to ssh into 192.168.1.5 from 192.168.1.6
i am connecting to the switch from the wan port on my wireless router.
i have dhcp coming from the firewall.
i have the wireless router setup as a gateway. should this be setup as a router?
unable to ping from laptop. i think i'm just having a brain lapse.

firewall - 192.168.1.1
wireless router - (wan) 192.168.1.2
wireless router - (lan) 192.168.1.3
laptop static ip - 192.168.1.6
destination computer - 192.168.1.5

Well to get you started......it should look like this.

MODEM->FIREWALL->ROUTER->SWITCH-> LABTOP.........
The router is what separates your network from the internet.
I really don't understand why you have the router under the switch....
The router is your gateway between the 2 networks.
You have 2 wireless routers ?? 1 for you internal network and 2 for the internet ??
