Wireless router for htpc usage.

I currently run the horrible linksys VPN router wrv54g. It's got and ok wireless signal, but i dont seem to have any use for the vpn anymore. So im looking to find a quick router that can help give me a quick wireless connection to my htpc in the living room. It will mainly be for streaming from a server connected to the network. what wireless router (with good range) would you recommend. Or would it be best to run cable in the case of an htpc?

Thanks

If you're tranfering/streaming huge files, then hardline is the way to go. It's far faster and more reliable than wireless. But if that's not feasible, any decent G router should work fine. Linksys WRT54G/GS is still a very popular router. I have an SMC router I got form Hot Deals for $10 or so that works great.

It's all personal preference and luck of the draw as far as brands go.
