Wireless Router at only 1mbps?

I have a linksys wireless G router with speedbooster. I have a linksys wireless B internal card inside my computer. The router is set for mixed mode, (meaning allowing both G and B cards) and it was working fine for the last few days. The cable went out for a little while today during a storm and when it came back the wilreless network speed was only at 1 mbps. I power cycled the router (turned off then on) and it still is only at 1 mbps. I restarted my computer and it persists at only 1 mbps. It starts at 11 every time it connects and jumps down to 1. The signal strength is 93% (excellent) and it has worked fine at 11 mbps for the last few years.

What the heck would make it go down to 1 and stay there? its slow as crap now.

I'm still connected to the network, and as far as I know nothing is causing interference. I know the type of devices that would, and nothing like that is running within my condo. Im using the connection right now to post this, its just very slow. I'd understand if it wasn't work ing at all, but it running at 1/11th of its normal speed is just confusing.
