Wireless router as wireless card?

I have two computers at home and both of them are running off of my Linksys wireless router. I just bought a new pc but I don't have enough cable to run from the router to the room where my new pc is. I have an old DLink router that I wanted to hook-up to this new pc so that I can catch the wireless signal emitting from the Linksys router. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing this? Thanks.

It's called wireless lan bridging. I'm not sure if your Linksys router support that function. Check with Linksys.

This Mode can be called in different names but in most cases the Wireless Router manual would state that it can be configured as a Wireless Bridge, or a Client Wireless. ( http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Modes.html ).

Unfortunately D-Link Wireless Routers cannot be configures or "forced" to work as Clients.

Many Linksys Routers can, if they are Flashed with DD-WRT Firmware.
