wireless randomly disconnects

Last few days my second computer, other computer is set up with a wire connected to the cable modem via a router, randomly looses the signal. After a few seconds it picks it back up and the icon says its connection speed is excellent. Tonight I waited for about a minute then initiated a "repair" and right now its back to normal.

what could possibly be happening to cause the break? Clueless here...

by the way, I use a pci wireless card
