Wireless question.

Is there an adapter available that can plug into an ethernet port on my BEFSR41 router that has an antenna that could communicate with a wireless card in a laptop? I'd rather not buy another router if I can avoid it... so I'm wondering if such an adapter exists, and how much it is. If it's very expensive, I'll probably just get a wireless router and replace my BEFSR41.

Hmmmm... so an Access Point is what I need... guess I'll look and see if Linksys makes them (since my router is a Linksys and I'd rather avoid any complications between brands). Will a regular 802.11b wireless PCMCIA card work with an access point?

Looks like the Access Points are the same cost as a Wireless Router would be. So I may as well just get a Wireless router and replace my wired router.

Jeff7181, you could do that and then disable DHCP on the old router and use it as a switch.

Seems strange that an Access Point costs 2x to 3x more that a wireless router.
Supposedly an Access point is more configurable but that wouldn't justify the extra cost to me.
Might be they sell more wireless routers and can charge a lower price.
