Wireless Question (PCMCIA interfacing with PCI card)

Due to my wealth of ignorance in the wireless hardware arena, I am in need of help. I have a Proxim Range LAN-DS PCMCIA card, which I got for free with my Proxim AP. Now what I am looking for is a PCI card that I can slap that into. I am thinking about the Netgear MA301, as I have heard the least amount of horror stories about that card. Are there other cards I should consider?

TIA!

The World of PCI Adaptors for PCMCIA card is a real mess. In theory they should be interchangeable. However many do not.

Some adaptors are sold for over $40, other are given for few $$ when you buy PCMCIA.

You have to take into consideration that the PCMCIA stuck into an adaptor behind your Desktop/Tower may be yield poor result propagation wise.

What ever you get, consider the general cost (it may be cheaper to sell the PCMCIA, and buy a USB Wireless Client), and make sure you can return for full refund if it does not work.

Example of such an Adaptor Here:
BELKIN COMPONENTS - WIRELESS PCI NETWORK ADAPTOR. $33.

That is sort of what I thought. They should be interchangeable...how well it works, that's probably another story. I agree with the USB road....I will probably pick up a Netgear MA101 in the near future, but figure I'll try the other route for the moment.
