Wireless....PUZZLED..

Bought a wireless router and card for my laptop last night. Got the connections right...WAN is running..."connection" light has a signal but yet I can't log on the internet. The wirless card is communicating with the router according to the wireless card stat logs...but still no internet connection. I tried going into PPPoeP and entering in the user namd and password but still no love...


Can anyone give me some advice?

The router should take care of the PPPoE client services. Are you getting and IP assigned. If so then you should be able to ping but try that as well. If you can ping the router then it either a resolution problem, like you need to work on the DNS settings of your client PC, or the PPPoE client is not authenticating. Something like that. Resolve that you actually have an association to the AP from the client card first, usually by pinging the router.
