Wireless Problems

Hope someone can give me some advice... I live in a townhouse, and many of my neighbors have access points. I can connect to some of them very reliably (quick to connect, connection doesnt drop), but I can't connect to my own!

If I let it grind long enough, it will connect (at around 90% signal strength and full speed). While connected, performance is great. But, invariably, after a while it will just drop the connection, and the network will no longer even be visible. After some amount of time the network will reappear, but the process just repeats. The end result is my computer hops networks like mad and its extremely frustrating.

I have 3 computers that behave this way, and this is the second router (different brands) that I have had this problem with.

try change channel I think channel 11 is better than 6, most AP uses channel 6 and many of your neighbors are using channel 6 airwaves and yours might be unsecure wireless. Try to set it up as secure so no one in your neighborhood can use your AP.

Or you can get some more informations from network forum.
