Hi guys :)

I'm new to this forum, my best friend Roger guided me here, I have a problem that hopefully you guys can help me out with.

I purchsed a Lynksys wireless broadband router, model BEFSW1154 V.4, I succesfully hooked up my desktop to the router using CAT5 cable, no problem ther :), I do have a problem with my lappy though, I inserted my wireless card into my PCMIA slot, did a auto config with the router, it worked fine until I shut down the lappy, I booted up the next morning and now I have no internet access, I recieve this message from the Lynksys wireless window ;

Found access point, cannot find internet

I went in and changed the channel from "6" to "4" on both the router and the laptop, now I recieve this message

Cannot associate with the access point

I still have no internet access !

Can anyone help me out ?:confused:

Thanks in advance guys/gals :D

Have you tried resetting the router? I know certain versions of some Linksys wireless routers can have issues at times with losing internet connectivity. Are you using the latest firmware version on the router? Check the download page over at http://www.linksys.com and see if there's a firmware update available for your router.
