Wireless problem

Ok, here's the problem. Until a few days ago, the wireless connection from my sister's PC to the router was fine and she connected no problem. Now her wireless card detects a connection BUT can't find any sites or connect to anything online. Can't figure out the problem.

Hardware:
router - Linksys Wireless-G Router

card - Linksys Wireless-G wifi card

A very strange situation at hand...

First thing I would do is see if the pc is getting a valid IP address.

Can you access the router menu through a web browser? This will confirm that the router and pc are talking ok.

Ues I access the router settings via my web browser. Where might I look to check for proper IP address validation?
