OK, here's the deal - I had this same problem about a year ago on another system, and I talked to a friend about it and he burned me a disc that had an app on it that resolved the issue - only I don't have the disc anymore, I forgot what exactly was the problem/bug that caused this trouble, and I don't know what the app is that fixed it!
Here's the Problem:
I'm using a Dlink DWL-520+ wLAN Adapter with a Cisco Aironet 1200 WAP (though if I'm right the hardware is irrelevant). I still show connectivity to the network, but I have no internet connection whatsoever. Can't read pages in browser, can't ping - nothing. XP and the Dlink diagnostic tools show the network connection to be all green, good signal strength et cetera. Last time this happened I got a disc and ran an app - and poof, no problems. I have no idea how or what to do about this. I beg your assistance. Thanks.
