Looking for a cheap, reliable phone service. So if the one you're using is good, please recommend it. Also, could someone tell me the average rate for this?

I probably won't talk much, just have it incase of an emergency and on occasion talk to friends & family (which I predict will be less than 20 minutes a month).

Sprint. I don't have it, but my homeboy does, get into the SERO program, it's like employee referral. 500 min, 30 bucks a month.

I got tmobile when they had 1500 minutes for $40 a month but I have no home phone. Their prepaid is 1000 minutes for $100 and good for a year. Ask others in your area what carrier they prefer as service can vary greatly by area.

usually helpful to post your general area. then, i assume, people familiar in that area can vouch for a service or not. I doubt you want my advice since i live in California (unless you live in the bay area =D )

I also recommend T-Mobile prepaid. They have the best coverage for me. My uncle lives in Alexandria VA and I get a good signal at his house.

BTW you can get 1000 minutes for $100 and it's good for a year.

I don't recommend any, because all the wireless carriers are YMMV. test it out yourself.
