Wireless peripheral question RE: intereference

I have been wondering about this lately. Suppose you have a wireless KB/mouse, wireless network, and wireless headphones. Now, the headphones operate in the 900MHz band, and the Keyboard/Mouse are probably RF. What about the 802.11B? What frequencies does it operate within? Is there any possibility of interference with one another?

I ask because I have a Microsoft wireless kb/mouse combo, an Ipaq USB 802.11b NIC, and a pair of Sony 900MHz wireless headphones. Everything appears to work, and the NIC gets a strong signal an associates with the AP and the AP reads its MAC address, however the network connection to which it is associated wtih only last a few seconds, then it will disconnect. The WEP key is correct, all of the other settings are on par to my knowledge, however it will not connect. Lots of Tx packets, no Rx. Any ideas?

This is under a clean install of XP Pro, using the drivers that came with the NIC. The access point is a D-link.
