Wireless Pci Card not working...

I am installing a wireless pci card. First, I installed the software for it, then I put the card into one of the pci slots. The green light on the card blinks when the computer is turned on, but whenever I try to run the software, it doesn't open.

In the event viewer. XP right? Just go to the administrative tools, it should be there.

My experience has been that first time is always the most problematic. When it doubt, contact the manufacturer for help.

That sounds a lot like what happens when you have the wrong drivers for the card, but I assume you installed them from the accompanying CD. Try uninstalling the drivers, then installing the card first, then reinstall the drivers. Also check the mfg website for updated drivers.
