Wireless or cabled?

I need to transmit some composite video across a room/through wall for my bedroom. Duplicating the stream on a slingcatcher. I've got an older model 2.4 ghz A/V transmitter but it gets horrible interference from my wifi network. I was thinking about either shelling out the cash for a 5.8 transmitter, cheapest I've found with IR repeater is ~$120, or just getting a really long preferably white composite cable to follow the trim around the walls and into the bedroom.

I've had no luck in finding either a cheaper reliable wireless solution or any long white RCA cables. Does anyone have any idea on either of these?

One of these would work, but only available in black.

Where are you getting your audio from?

I guess you could always get a white component cable and use it as a composite with L/R audio (just keep your colors straight). I have a 35' foot white component in my theater room running through the ceiling and it is white.

Thanks for the link. It isn't exactly what I was looking for but either way you can't beat that price. The audio also comes from the slingcatcher, which has standard L/R audio out. I'll be using the HDMI out on the TV it sits next too and then I want to run the composite out into the bedroom.

Buy what you need for cables and get some white wireloom from an automotive store to cover it. Or, if there is an av installation place near by you might go ask if the could make you a custom length composite and audio with white mini coax, but you might not like the price they would want compared to monoprice as rca mini coax ends are about 1.50 a pop.

Also, you could try Component video baluns That connect with standard cat5 and can be used for up to 500ft lengths. (and im sure if you hunted areound you could get them cheaper that whats on amazon)

I don't know what your price range is but just throwing out some ideas.
