Wireless on laptop sees/connects to networks but no internet(local access only)

I went ahead and installed XP and it's working fine. I really appreciate the help gentlemen but let me tell you something, fuck windows vista. And here I thought ME was the worst OS of all time.

To be fair, XP was utter shit until SP2, just like Vista until SP2. Unfortunately it looks like the 4720z came with Vista original or SP1.
