Wireless networking?

Hey all. Awhile ago, I put together a new rig, and set it up in my bedroom. The thing is, my other 2 computers, my cable modem, and pretty much everything else is on the other side of the house. I've decided to use some sort of wireless networking to connect them.

My question is, what should I use? Can I expect to find anything for less than $300?
 
yeah get two of the dlink usb wireless adapters. hook em up in adhoc mode and your all set. you can add the access point/router later when you get the money.
