Just installed two dlink usb dwl120 adapters on my two computers in adhoc mode. They work great, although the transfer speed is a dismal 200k. I am looking into maybe some higherpowered antennas or something. Anyways there really isn't any lag. I pinged both comps and got consistent 4 to 5ms pings. not bad i say.

The fact that i can sit by the pool with my laptop and do VPN into work and still get 500k is very nice! 😀
