Wireless Networking with Dial Up

Is it possible to use a wireless router with a dial up internet service? I have never seen an external 56K modem and was wondering if this even exists. If not, is there any other way that a dial up connection can be attached to a wireless router?

dialup is slow enough on one, why would you want to share this nightmare with other computers? I have seen wireless routers with serial ports that you could hook up to a modem but that was...4 or 5 years ago, not sure what's available today? You sure you can't get broadband?
