okay, ill be setting up my 2wire homeportal tonight through sbc. Basically i was wondering which location you people would think is better. I have 2 desktops upstairs. if i put the portal upstairs the computers would be roughly 20-30ft away from the portal. Basically 1 room and 2 rooms down. If i put the portal downstairs the portal would be almost directly under both desktops just 1 floor down. I was wondering if anyone knew which spot would be better for my wireless set up. Thanks in advance.
