I have a "homechoice" box which is connected by a DSL telephone line. It then connects my TV, and has two ethernet ports, labelled NET, and PC....I have a PC connected to the "PC" port...

I wanted to add interent connection to my local wireless network. Possible? how?

I already have an ADSL modem cum wireless access point. Doubt itll help since it will only feed my internet needs.

If you have a wireless router then you should be able to connect the "PC" port to the WAN port on the router. Then connect your computer to one of the ports on the router.

I am familiar with most of consumer Internet connection settings, and frankly, I can not make ?head and tail? of what you have and what you would like to do.

Might help if you would provide a better more detailed description of your situation.

sorry :p

Ok i have somekind of a router where my DSL line is plugged into. From there, I get my TV connection through a scart socket and internet from the PC port (RJ44). There is also a NET port which is not used.

Assuming that your source is a combo Modem/Router.

Get a Wireless Cable/DSL Router and connect it to the Modem/Router using a regular port (leave the WAN port of the Wireless Router Open).

Plug all your Wired computers to the second Router's ports and use the Wireless.

The second Router has to be configured as a Switch with an Access Point.

Instructions here: Using a Wireless Cable/DSL Router as a Switch with an Access Point
