i just bought a new laptop recently and i have a access point setup in my room and it seems as if my neighbor also has one set up too. my laptop will connect to my signal but after a while it will cut out and connect to my neighbors connection occasionally. how do i setup windows to connect to one specific network signal? it keeps switching on its own so what i did was turn off my access point and stay perm on my neighbors but i would like to stay on my network.

Just call your isp and cancel your connection and start using your neighbor's. That's a pretty big savings.

NICE...

Hey, change your channel on the wireless network. Also, make sure that the order of connection is yours first. - hope this helps
