wireless networking 1 laptop to 1 pc

have a friend that wants to use the wireless technology to acsess the internet from his pc!!Doesn't he need a wireless nic card for the lappy plus the gateway?he can't do it with just the wireless nic card right??
any comments would be greatly appreciated 🙂

He will need to have wirless cards for both computers (unless of course one already comes with one. He should be careful because there are some questions right now about the security of wireless networking. Tell him not to use it for anything overly sensitive.
