wireless network without wireless switch

Can a wireless network be formed amongst the wireless ethernet adapters of computers? It's not for connection to the internet, but just for a LAN to play games on. I know that ethernet adapters can act as access points, but is it possible to have over 2 computers connected? If so, how is it done in Windows?

Thanks.

You would have to configure the Wireless cards to Ad-Hoc mode and would have to configure manually all of them with static IPs, and forced speed mode.

It might work but probably will be ?Quirky?, but Hey; you saved about $15:thumbsup: (The price of Wireless Cable/DSL Router on sale 😉).

P.S. Otherwise, this might be an interesting project,
