Hi,

I have a problem I find weird.
My network is by a D-Link DI-624+ Wireless Router, Connecting to an ADSL connection.
Basically there are 2 desktop computers always connected, one wired and is close to the router, the other one is connected wireless by a D-Link DWL-G520 PCI WiFi Card.

I have my router set to connect automatically with preset user/password.

Sometimes I have connection losses, only wireless loss. Has nothing to do I think with the modem, since the computer connected by a wired connection usually still has internet connection.

This usually happens once or twice a day, when it happens I have to restart the router and usually it works well again.

Can this problem be due to the router overheating maybe? It's very warm all the time. Something else that I might have that causes wireless failures?

Important, as soon as the wireless signal is lost, it will not regain until I restart the Router.

Wondering if it's something I'm doing, something in the router or something else?

If this keeps on happening I will get a different router, probably the Belkin Pre-N.

I'm pretty loyal to D-Link though, in my network needs I usually buy their products, the have great support and a great website.

To make it clearer, what happens is that the D-Link's WAN LED on the device also shuts off. Only the LAN LED is still on until I restart the router, any ideas? Does this maybe point to a broken router?
