Wireless Network Password?

I've got a desktop hooked up to a wireless router. My laptop accesses it wirelessly. I just reformatted the laptop and I can't remember my network password since it's always been saved. Guess that's why they tell you to write it down.

I typed in the IP of the router in IE on my desktop but it asked for a username and password. Anyone know common default usernames it could be? lol

I feel like an idiot but does anyone know where I can find it?

Go to the router companies website, access support get the manual, read how to reset the unit to defaults and set it up again.

google the router name and model number + default password

With D-link I think it is 192.168.0.1 and the username is admin and the password is blank.
