Wireless network - local network not accessible

I have a WRT54G router, WUSB54G wireless adapter, and several wireless ready laptops. All computers can access the internet. The pc with the wireless adapter is able to see the other computers and access shared files and printers.

The rest of the computers including the one directly connected to the router get an error message when I try to open the workgroup under Network Places. The error message says the drive is not accessible and to contact an administrator. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem? I have tried methods describes on various websites but nothing has worked. Any ideas?

don't use network places, it sucks. Use UNC paths, \\computername\share, or even UNC paths with IP's instead of names, \\ip.of.computer\share

I can still only view others computers on the network from one computer. When I try typing \\computername it can't be found. When I click on the workgroup that the computers are in I get the message "Workgroupname is not accessible. You may not have permission to access this network resources..." Any ideas how I can setup my network so this works?
