Wireless Network issue on my laptop...

I'm on my third card now. I now believe the issue may lie with some settings.

My laptop says that its connected, but the provided Dlink software continually flashes from 4 full bars of green to zero - and I can't seem to do anything on the internet. I have entered the correct password for my router, and have tried both a dynamic and static IP.

It is a trendnet router working with a Dlink card - both Wireless G.

Any particular reason my laptop connectivity would be continually up and down?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a config on your card is conflicting with your router and causing it to reboot. Had a similair problem yesterday it was because one of my boxes defaulted to TKIP, when the network was using AES and caused the AP to restart.

Check security encryption settings in your program and in your router...
