Wireless network help- ADVANCED is grayed out

Fabio

I just set up a 802.11g network. You are supposed to be able to right click on the network icon in the system tray and select VIEW AVAILABLE WIRELESS NETWORKS and then be able to his ADVANCED and make it so you can uncheck the option to have windows configure the network. However when I do this for some reason everything except for the CANCEL button is greyed out. Here's a screen shot here. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!

PS
I'm using a windows XP Pro. Its a Dlink DWL-g650 PCMIA cars and a Dlink di-624 router.

While I'm at it, is there a way to password protect each drive like you could in windows 98 and ME?

I still want to share the drives I just want to have to type in a password before you can access them.
