I'm using a Netgear 802.11g adapter with a Netgear firewall router/access point. The connection is fine, but, after a few minutes of use, the connection drops, only to have windows XP notify me that a connection is available immediately afterwards (so I have to manually reconnect). This is very annoying, signal strength isn't too great, but the router and adaptor seem to be talking to eachother fine. I would imagine that trying a network game under these circumstances would be impossible (since the connection refuses to continue).
As for interference, I have no devices that I am aware of operating in the 2.4GHz band. My wireless adapter is PCI, and my router is placed on a PC tower about 20 feet away from the adapter.
