wireless netgear 521 card loses signal

ive tried different channels, wep is off,

signal goes on and off

the network card is in a dell 1100 inspirion

i also have a dell latitude d600 on the same network and does not have a problem

any suggestions?

the inspirion is running xp home and the laditude running xp pro

Have you tried switching the card to the other laptop and see if you have the same problem? And is there a particular area in the house that you get that problem? Do you get it even right next to your wireless router?
