Wireless mouse with "back" button on the side

My Aopen PS/2 mouse is broken so now I need to find a replacement.
I used to have this wonderful mouse which also has a "back" button on the left side of the mouse. Can someone recommend one with similar features but wireless?

The Logitech G7 has a back button on the side (or a front but not a back, I forget which but it doesn't have both). It's pretty expensive though. I'm using an MX700 which has both side buttons, and I love it, but unfortunately it seems to have been out of production for a while now.

Edit: I think the MX1000 has both side buttons, and is probably less expensive than the G7 now and still in production (at least I'd hope so). I'm also not really familiar with non-Logitech mice, in case you couldn't tell 😛

I'd recommend the MX700, but Logitech doesn't produce it anymore. G7 would be my recommendation.

I don't really like Microsoft's mice, too bulky.

i have one and i love it. i love the way u can change the sensitivity on the fly, i love the way the PTFE feet literally glide across my mouse mat like an air hocky puck, i love the build quality, i love the fact you can take the little usb transciever out of the battery charging cradle and take the mouse with you, i use it on my mates laptops and the uni's workstations and it plugs it and works right away with out drivers.

the only downside is the battery life is a bit lacklustre....i hope they bring out some beefier batteries than the 600mAh ones they supply(they supply 2....use one charge one)

and dont worry about lag....ive switched from wired to wireless and cant tell the difference.....the G7 has ZERO lag

If you don't play games I'd suggest G7 too.

G7 has the same response at the G5, so it would be execellent for gaming.

Two things: wireless and gloss surface. I personally wouldn't buy a wireless mouse for gaming. Reviews also tend to recommend G5 over G7 for gaming.

The MX1000 laser mouse is amazing. Like one of the respondants here, I used to be very anti-wireless devices (and still refuse to use a wireless keyboard), but the MX1000 has really changed my mind. It works perfectly with gaming, holds a charge forever, and there is no response time delay as with some of Microsoft's products (which I have used and hated).

I love my Microsoft IntelliPoint Wireless mouse VERY good for gaming even though it is a wireless mouse and it feels verygood.

Logitech's Wireless mice work just fine.

There is absolutely no difference in the responsiveness of my MX500 and my MX700.

Only downside is they run through batteries like crazy. 3 days tops. Fortunately, charging stations are great. 🙂 5 minutes of charging is good enough for 8 hours of gaming.

look at the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer. They are on sale now for about $20, has 2 buttons, a clickable wheel, and 2 side buttons that act as forward and backi n web browsers. Runs on AAs and ;asts months per pair of AA.

I don't want to turn this into a wired/wireless flame war. But there is a difference, and benchmarks/tests have been done to show this difference. Whether and how one perceives this difference is entirely subjective though.
