I have a Logitech Optical Wireless Elite Duo, and I notice that my mouse batteries are dead after 2 or 3 weeks. Is this normal?

I have the Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical, and the batteries last 2-3 weeks in that, have done since I got it nearly 2 years ago :)

I just keep a spare pair of 1700mAh NiMH batteries sitting to the side all the time :)

My wife's Microsoft Optical cordless mouse batters last about 4 weeks, and she uses it quite extensively.

Personally, I can't stand the jitterness and poor traction of wireless mice. When I move my mouse, it better GO. It feels like I'm using a ball mouse again, and 3-4 weeks is rediculous IMO.

actually the mx700 doesn't have the jitterness.. it's one of the best mice I have ever had.. but I still like my explorer 3.0a over it. :D
