wireless mouse... accuracy?

How accurate are those wireless mouses? A friend of mine is about to buy one but he's worried it might not be too accurate for gaming. Should this be a relevant consideration?

Also, is "dual optical" actually any better or is it just some gimmick? Thanks for answering my lame questions! =D
