Wireless Microphone?

I'm looking for a wireless microphone, preferably in the style of a headset. However, I'll have the sound running through my 5.1 DTS system so I don't want or need a headset with sound capabilities. I simply want a wireless microphone to wear around my head (or simply attach by any other means) so I can communicate to my teammates when playing FPS. I did searches on newegg and haven't found this product. Does anyone have any suggestions, or know if it exists?

TIA,

Still an expensive route, but consider a bluetooth adapter and a wireless headset like the Motorola HS-850.

Another option is getting a boom mike (microphone on a stick). Logitech has a couple.

Wow, that is a sweet microphone for $350!

On the second option, I've got This Plantronics Voyager bluetooth headset for my cell phone. Am I correct in understanding that with some adapter I can program that headset to be used as my microphone paired with my computer? How would I do that, and what products would I need to pull it off?

TIA,

EDIT: Had time to newegg search from the office. Would something like This USB bluetooth adapter do the trick? Then I just hook this adapter to my PC, pair it with my headset I already have and am home free? If so, that's pretty sweet...

yeah that should also work - but you also can get one from ****** - i know the site looks like it was designed by a 10 year old, but its legit, fast shipping(from hong kong) and I paid $10 for my last bluetooth adapter.

Lots of wireless mikes out there - musicians and performers have been using them for almost 20 years now. The costs parallel their capbility and fidelity. Bluetooth is a good alternative, but range is limited as well as performance.

Cool, but what site is "******"? I'm afraid what results that would yield for me in a google search.

And you might invest in a 1.2 or even 2.0 bluetooth just in case you end up wanting newer neater bluetooth stuff in the future. But otherwise, yes, get a bluetooth USB dongle and pair it up with your headset it should appear to windows as a sound card with a speaker and a microphone and be useable by skype or anyhting else really.
