If your dSLR has mic input, you can just use a lav mic instead (a small clip-on mic on a wire). This one has a 20-foot cable & is super small:

Wireless systems are expensive & don't work as well as wired or dedicated audio recorders. Alternatively, you can use a video editing program to do an automatic audio sync from two different audio sources. So have the dSLR record the audio & then hold a portable audio recorder in your hand. The Zoom H1 for $99 is a great handheld model:
